My 5 Rules for Keeping Them Interested

by Vivian Vale, 55

So the next morning I met my girlfriends for brunch and spilled what happened after that young guy saw my sheets and said, "Wow, you're fancy." I shot back, "Honey, where do you live?" with a wink and watched him turn red.

  1. Keep him guessing. Tell the 42-year-old you'll call then wait three full days. He showed up at my door with flowers and zero chill the moment I rang.
  2. Let him chase. The shirtless runner offered his number on the trail. I smiled sweetly, said write it here, and kept walking while he jogged after me.
  3. Plan the fun. I picked the little jazz club at eight sharp for the 38-year-old. He arrived fifteen minutes early like an eager puppy hoping for a treat.
  4. Tease with humor. When the 45-year-old asked my age I answered old enough to know better and winked. He laughed so hard he nearly spilled his old-fashioned.
  5. Exit on top. One slow perfect kiss at the door then I slid into my waiting cab. Left him standing on the curb counting the hours till next time.

Works like a charm every time, Sweetie.
