My 5 Rules for the New and Improved Adam
by Elena Voss, 50
So there I was, Darling, finishing my martini while Adam replayed my line in his head.
I leaned in and told my girlfriends my five rules for the improved model.
- Own your mistakes. First Adam blamed Eve. Mine admits it, pauses, then fixes it with a wicked little smile.
- Dress the part. One outfit forever won't cut it. Tailored jacket, silk tie, shoes that whisper across the room.
- Listen like you mean it. He named the animals then stopped. The new one asks about my night and recalls every spicy detail.
- Bring real romance. No borrowed ribs, please. Velvet roses, a slow dance, eyes that promise without saying a word.
- Exit with class. My ex never mastered it. This Adam kisses my fingers, whispers goodnight, then vanishes like smoke.
Improvements really do make all the difference, don't they?
